Browser

To view and work with TuneText applications, you will need the Internet Explorer version 5.5 or higher. If required, download its recent version from Microsoft's Web site.

Also, the browser must have JavaScript and Userdata persistence enabled. Usually it's a default option for Internet Explorer. If, however, they are disabled, you need to do the following.

  1. Click Tools, then click Internet Options.
  2. Click the Security tab.
  3. Click the Custom Level button.
  4. Scroll to the Scripting section.
  5. Check Enable under Active scripting,
and Allow paste operations via script.
  6. Scroll to the Miscellaneous section.
  7. Check Enable under Userdata persistence.
  8. Click the OK button.

If required, consult your browser's help section for further information concerning those settings.

Why TuneText works with InternetExplorer browser only?

It's your choice, - about 90% of Web users worldwide use InternetExplorer.
If required, future versions of TuneText may be updated to work on all browsers.
In fact, the very first TuneText was a cross-browser code!
However, this requires a serious compromise in terms of speed and size.
The current TuneText is perfectly optimized for InternetExplorer!

But once again, this depends on your demand!
